Independent Women’s Forum is seeking a dedicated intern to serve with the design team in our communications department for 20-30 hours per week.

Types of Activities Include:
  • Creation of social media marketing graphics
  • Design, layout, and production of long-form documents
  • Creation of event materials
Requirements:
  • Must have experience in InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop. Familiarity and experience in Adobe Premiere is a plus
  • Be committed to our belief in conservative policy and passion for developing and advancing policies that aren’t just well-intended, but actually enhance people’s freedom, opportunities, and well-being.
  • Have excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Be a self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced virtual organization

  • Be teachable and eager to learn
Other Details:

The design intern reports to IW’s Graphic Design Lead.

IW operates as a virtual office. While we maintain regular working hours, our virtual office means staff spends more time getting things done and less time sitting in traffic. Still, we understand the importance of personal relationships, which is why we remain in constant daily communication, hold weekly staff and department calls, and host quarterly in-person meetings.

Interns at IW will receive a stipend, one-on-one guidance, connection with like-minded women, and opportunities for growth.
